The Apple Glade Movement -Miscarea de la Poiana Mãrului
Together with his future wife, Letitzia Bucur, Epuré was one of the main initiators of the "Group of the Apple Meadow"-"Gruparea de la Poiana Marului," a movement of young Romanian artists committed to painting full time and for long periods in the Apple Meadow Village, a pristine region of great beauty in the Carpathian hills. Others committed to the project: Bernea, Mesterou, Milcovici, Moraru, Nitzesco, Rusu, etc.
